From a young age, Osandhi envisioned building something of her own. The idea of creating a business\u2014something meaningful that gave her independence and purpose\u2014was always in the back of her mind. But even as the dream lingered, she understood that passion alone wouldn\u2019t cut it. She needed real skills, practical experience, and a solid foundation that would set her apart in the real world. <\/div>\n \n
Raised in a household with three children, Osandhi grew up in a financially stable family, but big expenses often came with a pause for consideration. When her older sister enrolled in a traditional university, Osandhi watched closely. Four years of lectures, endless assignments, commuting back and forth, and a six-month internship at the end of it all\u2014her sister\u2019s journey seemed more draining than empowering. It was a wake-up call. Osandhi knew she wanted to carve out a different path, one that didn\u2019t delay her growth but accelerated it. <\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Osandhi\u2019s biggest hesitation with the traditional degree route came down to one word: experience. If the purpose of higher education was to build a career, shouldn\u2019t it involve actually working in the field?<\/div>\n \n
“While exploring her options, she noticed a huge difference between conventional programs and eduCLaaS<\/a>\u2019 earn-while-you learn model. Most university degrees offered only a short internship at the end\u2014barely enough to get any experience. In contrast, eduCLaaS\u2019 Bachelor\u2019s Degree program promised three years of hands-on experience, running parallel with academic learning. For someone focused on results, the choice became clear.<\/div>\n \n
\u201cMajor reasons why I chose eduCLaaS would be, first is the three years of work experience and the paid apprenticeship. I would get to learn and then actually get work experience. \n\n\nThe second one was I could just stay at home and not travel, because after COVID, I didn’t really want to go out as much. I mean travelling wise you’d be exhausted when you get home, and it will be late at night. \n\n\nAnd the third I would say was, the financial burden, I could reduce it from my parents, so I could just be more independent.\u201d <\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tEarning While Learning<\/strong>\n
Choosing a work-study apprenticeship model as her Sertifikat Sarjana<\/a> proved to be one of the smartest moves Osandhi ever made. While many of her peers are still fully dependent on their families, she\u2019s already covering her tuition independently. The sense of pride and freedom that comes from earning her own way has only fueled her motivation. <\/div>\n \n
Even her friends are taken aback by her progress. While they still face years of study before entering the workforce, Osandhi is already in it\u2014learning the ropes, building skills, and gaining invaluable insights. Conversations about her apprenticeship often leave others curious, even a little envious. <\/div>\n \n
\u201cMy friends, I tell them, they’re very intrigued. They’re like, \u2018really, you’re actually working and you’re earning?\u2019 \n\n\nI’m actually paying the course fee and everything as well, they’re very surprised. For now, they’re all dependent on financially on their parents, whereas the students that are doing this course are not\u201d<\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSkills That Stick <\/strong>\n
Through her apprenticeship, Osandhi has grown in ways a classroom never could have offered. She now understands the rhythm of a real workplace\u2014how to communicate with managers, collaborate with teams, and see a project through from start to finish. That confidence? It\u2019s earned.<\/div>\n \n
