When Shivangi Priya finished high school in India, she didn’t feel triumphant. She felt lost.

Despite being a strong student with top marks in science subjects like biology, chemistry, and math, the next step wasn’t clear. College? Sure. But which one? And for what course? And more importantly—would it actually prepare her for the real world?

“I was standing at a crossroads with no signposts,” Shivangi says. “Everyone expects you to have it figured out at 18. I didn’t. And that scared me.”

This is the story of how one moment of digital curiosity—and a single decision—changed everything. It’s a story about taking control, breaking the mold, and choosing a path that leads not just to a degree, but to a future.

And if you’re standing at your own crossroads right now, it might just be the signpost you’re looking for.

The Pressure Cooker of Traditional Paths

In India, academic success is often equated with future stability. Parents, relatives, teachers—everyone has a plan for you. For Shivangi, the plan was vague, but the pressure was sharp.

“There’s a lot of expectation to take the safe route—get a traditional degree, follow the crowd, hope for the best. But I couldn’t stop thinking: What if that’s not enough anymore?”

She had seen it happen around her. Friends and older peers investing three to four years into degrees, only to emerge into a job market that didn’t seem to care. Companies laying off even the most qualified. Students graduating without knowing how to apply their knowledge in the real world.

“It felt like a gamble. One that might cost me time, money, and opportunity.”

More than anything, Shivangi didn’t want to be stuck—armed with theory but no practical experience, a certificate but no direction.

She needed something different. And she found it where she least expected—on Instagram.

An Ad That Lit a Spark

Scrolling through her feed one afternoon, Shivangi came across an ad that caught her eye. It was for eduCLaaS, a program offering work-integrated learning, mentorship, and a bootcamp-style curriculum for a bachelor’s degree that promised real-world experience from day one.

“It sounded too good to be true at first. But something about it felt right—like it understood exactly what I was looking for.”

Curious, she clicked. She signed up for a consultation call. And she talked it through with her dad, who supported her decision to explore a different kind of education.

“What convinced me was the structure,” she explains. “One year of intensive, hands-on learning, followed by job assistance and the opportunity to pay for my course through work. It felt like a smart, sustainable choice.”

She enrolled. And that’s when everything began to change.

         Stepping Into the Unknown

The transition wasn’t easy. Shivangi had always been a quiet student—reserved, more comfortable working alone than in groups. But at eduCLaaS, things worked differently.

From day one, she was immersed in a global classroom. Peers from different countries. Discussions. Presentations. Collaboration. Feedback.

“I was forced out of my comfort zone. At first, it was scary. But it was also exciting. I was learning how to communicate, not just how to complete an assignment.”

She developed soft skills she never realized she needed—public speaking, active listening, teamwork. And they weren’t just academic add-ons; they were central to the learning experience.

Most importantly, the bootcamp wasn’t about theory—it was about doing.

“We weren’t memorizing textbook chapters. We were solving real-world problems. Presenting ideas. Creating strategies. It was like stepping into the professional world while still learning.”

         Discovering Her Passion—and Her Power

It was during one of these hands-on projects that a mentor pulled her aside.

“They said, ‘You’re creative. You have a voice. Why aren’t you using it more?’ That moment stayed with me.”

Until then, Shivangi hadn’t thought of herself as creative. But through workshops and real marketing projects, she discovered a love for content creation—writing, designing, storytelling. Suddenly, everything clicked.

“I realized I could build something with my ideas. Content became my medium to connect, influence, and inspire.”

Her mentors became more than just instructors—they became guides, even friends. When her grandmother passed away during the program, they supported her emotionally and academically, helping her stay on track while giving her the space she needed.

“That kind of support—it’s rare. It made me feel seen and valued, not just as a student, but as a person.”

         A New Version of Herself

By the time she completed the bootcamp, Shivangi was no longer the unsure, hesitant student she had been. Today, she’s continuing her journey with eduCLaaS—working as an apprentice while pursuing her degree, gaining both academic credentials and hands-on industry experience at the same time.

She had grown into a confident digital marketer with real-world experience, a growing portfolio, and a clear vision for her future.

“The program helped me discover who I am and what I’m capable of. I know now that I want to keep growing in content creation—but I’m also curious about analytics, branding, and even tech.”

She’s not stuck in a box. She’s adaptable, ambitious, and ready for whatever comes next.

“I don’t feel behind. I feel ready.”

         What Makes eduCLaaS Different

For Shivangi, the difference wasn’t just the curriculum. It was the philosophy.

eduCLaaS isn’t just about skills. It’s about transformation.
