Singapore, September 30, 2026 – CLaaS2SaaS Lithan, together with co-organisers Lifelong Learning SG (LLSG) and the Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA), hosted “AI in Action: Solve Your Workflow Problems – Live!”, a hands-on AI workshop held as part of the SkillsFuture Festival, designed for Singapore business owners and decision-makers.
More than 100 participants came together to explore how AI could be applied to real workplace challenges across Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Operations. Rather than focusing on AI as a future technology, the workshop focused on how it can be applied today to improve everyday business workflows.
Beyond the workshop sessions, participants also had opportunities to visit event booths, connect with industry representatives, socialise, and exchange ideas with fellow business professionals.

Building Connections Through Industry and Technology

Participants network and engage with industry representatives while exploring the various booths, technologies, and solutions showcased at the event.
The event was supported by industry partners who contributed to creating a practical and engaging environment for participants to explore AI, connect with industry organisations, and learn about available technologies and solutions.
Singapore Business Federation (SBF) supported the event through its networking booth and event outreach, providing participants with an opportunity to engage with the business federation and connect with the wider business community. Other participating booth partners included Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA), CLaaS2SaaS Creative, and Whyze Solutions, who provided additional opportunities for participants to engage with industry organisations and explore relevant solutions.
Microsoft also supported the event as the technology partner, contributing to technology support and resources for the event and its campaign activities.

A Hands-On AI Experience

The workshop was organised by CLaaS2SaaS Lithan, bringing together participants across five key business functions: Human Resources (HR), Finance, Marketing, Sales, and Operations.
Mr. Teo Soon Sin, Head of the Jobs Skills Integrator Programme Office at the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), shares insights with participants.
The event featured Mr. Teo Soon Sin, Head of the Jobs Skills Integrator Programme Office, as a representative of the Singapore Business Federation (SBF). His participation brought a workforce and business perspective to the discussion around applying AI in the workplace.
Built around live application, the format demonstrated how workflow problems could be addressed and solved using AI, giving participants a practical view of how AI can be applied to real business processes rather than simply discussed as a future technology.
Participants also highlighted the practical value of the session. As Adam shared, “The session is good, well-planned and executed. The information is very useful, and it will help us to really consider the infrastructure that we can use back in our organisation.”

Applying AI Across Key Business Functions

The session explored practical AI applications across key business functions, highlighting common workflows and opportunities for AI support:
  • Human Resource
Focused on workflows such as employee screening, onboarding, and policy queries, demonstrating how AI can support recurring people-related processes.
  • Finance
Covered reconciliation, reporting, and forecasting, highlighting opportunities to apply AI to finance workflows involving data and recurring analysis.
  • Marketing
Explored content creation, campaign analysis, and reporting, showing how AI can assist marketing teams across content and performance-related tasks.
  • Sales
Focused on lead qualification, proposals, and pipeline management, demonstrating how AI can support sales teams throughout key stages of the sales process.
  • Operations
Addressed scheduling, inventory, and process tracking, highlighting how AI can help teams manage operational workflows more efficiently.

Moving from AI Potential to Practical Application

By bringing real business workflows into the session, AI in Action demonstrated a practical approach to AI adoption: identify a workflow challenge, apply AI to the task, and assess how the solution can improve everyday work.
This hands-on approach reflects CLaaS2SaaS Lithan’s broader focus on equipping organisations and their workforce with the skills and capabilities to adopt AI effectively, supporting the transition toward an AI-first future of work.
